As the title suggests Pretty Vicious is a new band originally from Wales that really remind me of the punk sounds of the past but also stay relevant and fresh with the rocky and free spirited nature of their music.

Although Pretty Vicious are most definitely a new and original rock band, encapsulating the energy and soul of the scene at the moment, their musical influences clearly span far and wide -for example the song 'Black and Blue' reminds me of the Grungy energy of Nirvana and their song 'The Worlds Not Enough' very much reminds me of the Stone Roses.

The lead singer Brad Griffiths has an amazingly unique, harsh grungy voice perfectly matched to the powerful fast paced riffs favoured by the band.

The bands lyrical style has changed over the years but tends to encapsulate free-spirit and just generally being young and doing exactly what you want no-matter what anyone else says. A message I think most alternative young people can agree with.

The band have just released their new single ‘Move’ which is a really amazing track bringing together all the sounds of their past releases to create a masterpiece of a tune. This song is expected to be released alongside a new album but this has not yet been confirmed – so keep your eyes peeled!

Check out the new lyric video for the recently released single 'Move' below:
